Pavel Tyo will bid in a tender to be held on August 26 to buy 100% of the shares of the Stolichnye Apteki pharmacy chain. According to the project documentation, at least 5.6 billion rubles are to be invested in the Stolichnye Apteki project. The pharmacy chain owns 185 units of real estate – 183 pharmacies and two storage facilities with a total area of about 103,000 sq m. Stolichnye Apteki ranks among the top 30 Russian retail pharmacies in number of locations.
If his bid is successful, Capital Group shareholder Pavel Tyo does not intend to repurpose the pharmacies, but they may be optimized and partially vacated. The vacated locations are to be rented out, as the preliminary analysis has shown that they are the most appealing for retail purposes.
